To know where you are parked and associate the parking rate, you need to enter the location code corresponding to where you are parked. The location code is a unique number associated with a parking space, meter, or off-street lot. To find your location code, you can use our geolocation, or interactive map or manually input the location code displayed on the closest parking meter.
How does the city agent control my vehicle if I don't have a ticket?
Parking control officers verify parking payment via license plate number using their device. If parking is offered by PayByPhone, police and parking control officers have already been trained to verify digital tickets.
Is there a price difference between the PayByPhone app and the parking meters?
The PayByPhone app is 100% free to download and doesn’t require any subscription. In Winnipeg, PayByPhone applies the parking rates set by the city. This means there are no price differences between PayByPhone and parking meters.
