Our North American Marketing team has been awarded the '2023 International Parking and Mobility Institute (IPMI) Award of Merit, Parking Private Sector' for our 2022 Simplify Your Summer with PayByPhone campaigns! We are honoured to be recognized by IPMI and humbled to be featured among the list of well deserved winners.
In 2022, PayByPhone’s marketing plans incorporated a multi-city community engagement campaign titled ‘Simplify Your Summer’. These campaigns ran in Seattle, San Francisco, and Miami, and engaged parkers to enjoy fun, warm weather activities available in their city, while utilizing PayByPhone to streamline their parking. The overarching campaign elements were highlighting summertime themed activities in each city that people could participate in, while also using PayByPhone – ultimately encouraging people to get out and explore local attractions and businesses, and use the PayByPhone app to simplify their journey.

To get the campaigns off the ground, our in-house North American Marketing team led the creative design, strategy, and execution, while also establishing partnerships with several media agencies, including Hearst Media, Big Wave Media, and The Seattle Times. Our team also researched local attractions in Seattle, San Francisco and Miami, and coordinated the giveaway sweepstakes. Check out the prizes that were available to be won:

The 2022 Simplify Your Summer campaigns were successful in getting people engaged in their local communities, increasing awareness about PayByPhone in Seattle, San Francisco and Miami, and because they were entirely virtual, we were able to target a wide audience in each city.
IPMI’s Awards of Excellence program showcases outstanding and innovative programs to further the parking, transportation, and mobility industry. Entries are reviewed by a panel of expert judges from every segment of the industry, and ranked across a wide spectrum of criteria.
